Yes! We encourage they be used as a system, ideally, but can still be used separately as needed. The water-based serum hydrates, clarifies, and stimulates the scalp, while the oil-based serum helps seal in that moisture and compliments all the benefits. Many customers use both as part of their weekly routine. We recommend using the water based serum everyday and the oil 3-4 times per week.

All hair types can benefit, but they’re especially helpful for dry, thinning, or protective-style-wearing scalps. Our products prioritize scalp health and stimulating follicles at the root with all natural ingredients. Both formulas are curly/coily hair friendly and are safe for chemically treated or color-treated hair.

Absolutely. Both serums are residue-free when used as directed. They help ease itching and flaking, and stimulate your scalp. The Waves of Grace serum is great to use as a scalp rinse and the Golden Nectar oil helps to encourage growth. They nourish the scalp and hair without causing buildup in locs, braids, or other protective styles.

We use all organic herbs and mostly organic plant-based oils with minimal processing. Many are certified organic or wild-harvested where possible, but always all natural. Our products are free of silicones, parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrances, heavy metals, and synthetic fillers.

Geogard ECT is an EcoCert-approved, broad-spectrum preservative made from naturally derived soybean ingredients. It is officially approved by ECOCERT and COSMOS for use in certified organic cosmetics. It’s necessary to keep water-based products (like lotions, creams, and toners) fresh and safe from harmful bacteria, yeasts, and molds — without parabens or harsh chemicals.

The blend is universally composed of four ingredients: 

  • Benzyl Alcohol: An organic alcohol that occurs naturally in fruits and essential oils.
  • Salicylic Acid: A beta hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from plants that fights bacteria and mold.
  • Glycerin: A natural humectant that helps dissolve the ingredients and hydrate the skin.
  • Sorbic Acid: A natural organic acid that stops the growth of yeasts and molds.

Geogard ECT is highly regarded in "green" and natural beauty because it is free of parabens, formaldehyde, and phthalates.

No. Oil-based formulas do not require preservatives if kept dry and uncontaminated. However, we do include Vitamin E to naturally extend shelf life and protect the oils from oxidation.


  • Water-Based Serum: Shelf-stable for up to 6 months with proper storage or up to 8 months in refrigerator
  • Refill pouch: 1 month in biodegradable pouch

  • Oil-Based Serum: Typically lasts up to 12 months.
  • Refill pouch: 3 months in biodegradable pouch

Store all products in a cool, dry place away from sunlight. Our opaque glass bottles provide maximum protection by completely blocking harmful UV and blue light. The non-porous glass acts as a total oxygen barrier stopping oils from turning rancid. Glass will never leach harmful chemicals or microplastics, guaranteeing total product purity. They shield the contents from temperature and environmental damage, ensuring you receive the highest quality shelf-life possible. Refill pouches are biodegradable by design — gentle on the earth, but not made for long shelf life. For the freshest results and to protect your serum’s natural benefits, we recommend ordering your refill close to the end of your current supply and transferring it right away. We provide a free mini funnel at checkout if needed to make this transition as easy as possible. Remember to sanitize and store the funnel to reuse for future refills.

We offer a 30-day return window from the date you receive your order. Eligibility Requirements:

  • Condition: Unused, unaltered, and in its original packaging.
  • Proof: Valid receipt or proof of purchase required.

How to Start a Return:

  2. If approved, we will email you a prepaid shipping label and instructions.
  3. Mail the package back using our label (unauthorized returns are not accepted).
